The Southern Champion Tray 0973K bakery box is made from kraft paperboard for high tensile strength, has locking corners for ease of assembly, is recyclable and compostable, and uses 20% less fiber than other box materials. The kraft paperboard contains at least 18% recycled wood fiber and is made using a chlorine-free manufacturing process. The box measures 4 x 10 x 10 inches (H x L x W) and can accommodate a 9" diameter cake or pie, fits a 6-count cupcake insert (sold separately) for holding standard (2-1/2" diameter) cupcakes, or can carry muffins, scones, and other baked goods. (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right.) Disposable food service products are used to store, insulate, transport, prepare, and serve food and drink. They are made of paper, plastics, and metal foil. Food service products for freezing items protect their contents from freezer burn, contamination, and drying. Microwavable food service products are safe for use to heat food in a microwave. Compostable food service products biodegrade about as fast as yard trimmings and food scraps, and disintegrate so that no large plastic fragments remain.
